Description
An artist duo travels through Switzerland. Photographically, Gen Atem and Miriam Bossard capture “situations, people, or objects,” noting that personal perception can create its own interpretations of truth. Back in their studio in Zurich, the artists arranged their collection into six series of works, or “Six Perspectives Regarding Truth,” as they call it. They sprayed over the prints, laying layers and veils over their observations – sometimes large-scale and wild, sometimes subtle and quiet. The effect is reminiscent of the “rose-colored glasses” that make the world of lovers seem softer. The veil of color over the photographs relativizes the truth or creates it anew right away. // Anna Raymann, Hochparterre, Magazine for Architecture, Planning and Design
